HiPERAmp high power fiber amplifier
The HiPERAmp features large, 27 µm mode field diameter 3C fiber with integrated pump coupler and single-mode fiber input. The pump coupler is incorporated in a counter-propagating configuration for optimal high power, short pulse performance. The HiPERAmp is designed for high power amplification in a fiber master oscillator power amplifier (MOPA). It comes with a single-mode fiber input to splice to a customer supplied, pulsed seed source and multimode fiber input to couple pump lasers into the amplifier. The output is a free-space collimated, single-mode beam.
The HiPERAmp is designed for short pulse performance and can be optimized for pulse widths ranging from picoseconds (compressible to fs) to microseconds. High extinction ratio, polarized output can be achieved with highly polarized input.
